More details:

This isn't your average rental cabin. It's my private cabin that I rent out when I myself am not there! As a guest, you will feel like you are at 'your own private getaway' and not just a visitor. This private and secluded cabin is tucked away on over three acres of gorgeous wooded mountainside just eight minutes from I-81 at New Market, Va. in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. "Private and Secluded," yes, but only from people, 'cause the birds and other critters will be looking in on you frequently.

Although IDEAL for a "Getaway Weekend," the cabin can accommodate up to 6 people and boasts a great fireplace with loads of cut firewood, air-conditioning (although, you won't need it), a nicely-equipped kitchen (utensils, pots & pans, paper products and, a microwave), and a gigantic screened-in porch, as well as a sundeck. You'll have a TV & DVD/Blu-Ray player with lots of movies, all sorts of games (horseshoe pits are just off the deck), and, of course, a charcoal grill. All the necessary linens are supplied. Just pack the charcoal, food, snacks and drinks!

There are lots of things to do nearby, caverns, ski resorts, and a golf course within a short drive. In town there is lots of shopping, "antiquing," good food, and many Civil War historical sights to visit in the Valley - or - just RELAX AND UNWIND!!

Yes, there is a phone, and if you just HAVE to let people find you, that's your choice! Of course there is a full bathroom and running water! Hey, I like to get away but still take a shower just like you! If you like caverns, you have chosen the right place! Minutes away you will find Endless Caverns and Shenandoah Caverns. A short drive away are Luray Caverns and Skyline Caverns, all of which you must see! Don't forget the George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah National Park, and Skyline Drive are all nearby.

Now that you have a good idea of what this place is all about, take some time and look over the photos of the place and read the FAQ. You will find most questions answered there. Want to see if a certain date is available?  Drop me an email!
